  • Works alongside your doctor if you have PCOS, thyroid or another condition
  • Reviewed monthly as your body and routine change

Can I Talk to a Nutritionist Online?

Yes. You can talk to a nutritionist online by video call from anywhere in India, with no clinic visit. At Fitstrot, you start with a free fifteen-minute discovery call with a coach, booked on WhatsApp. Paid plans cost ₹349 a month or ₹999 a quarter, and both include a written plan and a monthly review.

All you need for an online diet consultation is a phone with a camera and fifteen minutes.

What an Online Nutritionist Consultation Gets You

Printed daily nutrition plan on a table

01

Personalised Diet Plans

Built from your last three days of eating, not a template. If it doesn’t match what’s already in your kitchen, you’ll abandon it by week three and we both know it.

02

Advice That Starts With Your History

Your coach asks about your medication and looks at your recent blood reports before writing anything. They don’t diagnose and they don’t touch your medication. That stays with your doctor.

03

No Clinic Visit

Video consultation from anywhere in India. No waiting room, no travel, no half-day off work for a twenty-minute appointment.

04

Sustainable Habits

Portion guidance in Indian household measures. Katoris and rotis, not grams you’ll never weigh.

Who You’ll Speak To

You should know who is advising you on food before you pay anyone.

What this site can tell you today: Fitstrot is led by Yash, founder and head coach. He holds a Diploma in Personal Training from K11 School of Fitness Sciences (July 2025, Distinction). His profile is on the page about the coach behind Fitstrot.

Your consultation is general nutrition guidance written by your coach. It is not medical nutrition therapy. Your coach doesn’t diagnose, prescribe or change medication. If you are looking for an online dietitian consultation for a medical condition, ask the provider for the dietitian’s registration before you book.

Who is the best online dietitian in India?

No single online dietitian is the best in India for everyone. Look for a stated qualification, plans built from food you already cook, regular reviews and a clear price. Fitstrot offers coach-led nutrition consultation from ₹349 a month, starting with a free fifteen-minute discovery call. For medical nutrition therapy, choose a Registered Dietitian and involve your doctor.

What to expect

What Happens in an Online Nutritionist Consultation?

An online nutritionist consultation at Fitstrot is a video call with a coach. It covers your medical history, your medication, what you ate over the last three days, who does the cooking and what you have already tried. A written plan follows, with meals, portions, timings and substitutions. It is reviewed every month.

Most people have tried something before. That’s usually the most useful thing you’ll tell us.

The substitutions are for the days when the planned meal isn’t possible. At the monthly review, your plan changes based on what you actually ate rather than what was written down. Between reviews you get weekly progress tracking and WhatsApp support.

Online Nutrition Consultation vs a Local Clinic

Who Books a Consultation

01

Busy Professionals

Eating whatever is fastest, at whatever time you get home. The plan works around that rather than pretending you’ll meal prep on Sundays.

02

Managing a Health Condition

PCOS, thyroid, prediabetes, high cholesterol. Generic calorie advice frequently makes these worse rather than better.

03

Fitness & Wellness Enthusiasts

Training hard and eating badly is a common combination. The nutrition side decides most of what the training can produce.

04

Vegetarians Struggling With Protein

Hitting protein targets on an Indian vegetarian diet is genuinely difficult, and most online plans get it wrong. Vegetarian, vegan, Jain and eggetarian plans all handled.

Mother eating a home-cooked meal with her children

05

Anyone Cooking for a Family

You’re not cooking two dinners. Your plan starts from what the household already eats and adjusts portions and timing before it changes the food.

Can an Online Dietitian Make an Indian Vegetarian Diet Plan for Weight Loss?

Yes. An online dietitian can make an Indian vegetarian diet plan for weight loss, because the plan depends on your food habits, not on a clinic visit. At Fitstrot, a coach builds vegetarian, vegan, Jain and eggetarian plans from home-cooked Indian food, with protein planned in. Rice and roti stay. No crash dieting, and no promised result.

If you came here looking for a dietician for weight loss, this is what a Fitstrot plan covers.

  • Weight loss on home food. Portions and timing change before the food does.
  • Vegetarian, vegan, Jain and eggetarian eating, with protein from food you already buy.
  • Muscle gain, if that is your goal and not weight loss.
  • One dinner for the whole house. You don’t cook twice.
  • Nobody can promise you a number on the scale, and we don’t.

Want training with your diet? Weight loss coaching with a personal trainer for weight loss costs ₹1,749 a month and includes a nutrition plan. 1-on-1 personal training includes one too.

Both the plans were simple in Gujarati, and the workouts designed for me were as per my needs of home workouts keeping in mind my back pain. The diet was vegetarian as I asked for and designed in a way that could be followed regularly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1Is the consultation free?

The first fifteen-minute discovery call is free. The full consultation and written plan are paid, because they involve a coach’s time and a document written specifically for you.

Q2Will I have to stop eating rice and roti?

No. Your plan is built from Indian food, and removing your staples is the fastest way to guarantee you abandon it. Portions and timing change far more often than the food does.

Q3Do you handle vegetarian, vegan and Jain diets?

Yes, all four including eggetarian. Protein planning on an Indian vegetarian diet is one of the things we spend the most time getting right, because most plans get it wrong.

Q4Do I need blood reports?

Not compulsory, but helpful. If you have recent thyroid, sugar, lipid or vitamin D results, share them before your call. They change what your coach recommends.

Q5Can this replace my doctor?

No. Your coach works alongside your doctor, not instead of them. If you’re on medication for a condition, keep your doctor informed of any dietary change, and we’ll tell you when something needs medical input rather than nutritional.

Q6Can I get help with PCOS or thyroid?

Yes, with your doctor’s clearance. Your plan accounts for PCOS or thyroid rather than ignoring them, and it does not replace your treatment. Bring recent reports to your first call.

Q7How long until I see a difference?

It varies. Some people notice a change in energy and digestion in the first few weeks. Weight change is slower and depends on where you’re starting from. Anyone promising a fixed timeline is guessing.

Q8What if the plan doesn’t fit my routine?

Tell your coach at the monthly review and it gets changed. A plan you can’t follow isn’t a plan, it’s a document.

Q9What is the difference between a dietitian and a nutritionist?

A dietitian has formal training in dietetics and works with medical conditions. In India, a Registered Dietitian has degree-level study in nutrition and dietetics, typically a six-month hospital internship, and has passed the Indian Dietetic Association’s RD exam. Nutritionist is a wider title, and training varies. Fitstrot offers general nutrition guidance from a coach, not medical nutrition therapy.

Q10How do I pay, and can I cancel?

You pay by UPI, debit or credit card, or net banking through Razorpay. No GST is charged and there is no joining fee. Your plan renews automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel any time by email or WhatsApp.
